Statement signed by 2/3 of the rabbonim on the Beth Din of Crown Heights (one being ex-Sydneysider Rav Y Braun the former rav of the Tzemach Tzedek community).
Hopefully similar statements will be issued by Batei Din and Rabbonim worldwide.

ReplyDeleteOur local Rabbonim issued this very statement (only in more detail) last year. The RCV's resolution condemning and combating child abuse.
If you have it can you please post it here? Everyone should read it.
It is a good thing that the RCV issued their statement. But for us Chabadniks, the stature and standing of the BD in CH outweighs most of the membership in the RCV, who are after all old schoolmates and and pals even today. Asides possibly rabbis telsener and Rabbi Lewin I can;t imagine any of them being nominated for H rabbinate
